NASAs twin Voyager probes have become, in some ways, time capsules of their era: They each carry an eight-track tape player for recording data, they have about 3 million times less memory than modern cellphones, and they transmit data about 38,000 times slower than a 5G internet connection.Yet the Voyagers remain on the cutting edge of space exploration. Managed and operated by NASAs Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Southern California, they are the only probes to ever explore interstellar space 鈥?the galactic ocean that our Sun and its planets travel through. The Sun and the planets reside in the heliosphere, a protective bubble created by the Suns magnetic field and the outward flow of solar wind charged particles from the Sun . Researchers 鈥?some of them younger than the two distant spacecraft 鈥?are combining Voyagers observations with data from newer miss stanley water flask ions to get a more complete picture of our Sun and how the heliosphere interacts with interstellar space.NASAs Solar System Interactive lets users see where th stanley tazas e Voyagers are right now relative to the planets, the Sun, and other spacecraft. And not just in one or two countries, but in multiple regions. The good news is that we have the resources and skills to make famine a thing of the past. But past strategies wont work.Until recently, success in the fight against global famine was one of humanitys greatest achievements. Between 1990 and 2019, the rate of chronic malnutrition around the world dropped from 38% to 7.9%. However, It is now again rising rapidly with devastating consequences. Today, over a quarter-billi stanley cup website on people grapple with severe hunger and malnutrition, a 100% increase in just the past five years. As aid workers, we have worked with communities who are on the front lines of this crisis. From Haiti to Somalia, and Afghanistan to Yemen, we have heard from countless desperate mothers in too many nutrition wards and displacement camps.Growing hunger is fueled by a toxic mix of climate change, armed conflict, and a global economic crisis that has ex |
